Management Team:

Stephen Smith | Managing Partner

Stephen Smith is Managing Partner at HomeWorx Dallas. Stephen has complete P&L responsibility and manages the overall strategy, services, and corporate operations for the company.

Stephen brings over 8 years of experience in operating a multi-million dollar service and support organization within the software industry. During that time, he was responsible for implementing corporate operating processes and procedures to attain a substantial, measurable increase in operational profitability. He secured on-going service-level agreements with large Fortune 500 companies, including Citigroup, Wal-Mart, FedEx, and General Motors, and worked to foster these relationships. Upon the company's acquisition by a publicly traded software company based in Chicago, he successfully transitioned the services and support organization while maintaining the relationships and agreements with existing customers. Upon the completion of the transition, Stephen decided to return to Dallas to establish and operate a residential construction company specializing in custom design/build applications.

With the combined experience in software, services, and residential construction, Stephen recognized a perfect solution with the acquisition of HomeWorx Dallas. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Strategic Management from Southern Methodist University.

John Sanders | Director of Sales

In his role as Director of Sales at HomeWorx Dallas, John is responsible for directing sales, strategy, and business development relations for the company. He brings more than 8 years of experience in sales, marketing, and management to his current position.

Over the past 2 years, John has worked with some of Dallas' most prestigious custom home and multi-family builders consulting them with all facets of their post-construction customer service. Companies like Sotherby Homes and Hawkins-Welwood have drawn on John's expertise of the post-construction process to help streamline their business and save on warranty costs.

Before working for HomeWorx Dallas, John enjoyed a successful real estate career in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was an internet marketing pioneer, working with Salt Lake's top real estate firms to implement and execute successful lead generation and e-marketing campaigns.

John holds a B.S. in Telecommunications and Marketing from the University of Utah.
